Cultural Tourism DC has a series of walking trails around Downtown Washington, DC and its neighborhoods. The trails are marked throughout the city with large, informational signs. Cultural Tourism DC was looking for a way to bring the information on the signs to life in a dramatic, cinematic experience that appealed to a new generation.

Cultural Tourism DC approached us with the following challenges:

• How do we raise public awareness our trails and signs?
• How do we get more young people walking our trails?
• How do we convey the drama and emotion behind the epic events we are discussing without being irrevrant?
• How can we distribute the podcast tour to as large of an online audience as possible?

Audissey worked with Cultural Tourism DC to bring the epic stories of DC’s past to life in a dramatic, cinematic style. The tour engages the listener as an active participant in a walk through DC’s Civil War and Civil Rights history.
